Why take part
Are you a young designer? Do you want to be part of an international project? Your design won't end up on a hanger. We present winning works digitally in the interactive SPLOT installation, and exhibition visitors can virtually „wear" your creation through Generative AI, in real time, in front of an audience at Millenium Hall.

Winning designs gain a digital life in the SPLOT installation, where visitors „wear" your creation through Generative AI.
Cash prizes for the 7 best works (about EUR 750 in total) plus promotion across the channels of an international festival.
Competition theme
The competition task is to design and create an avant-garde conceptual fashion silhouette inspired by the aquatic environment. The concept must reference the fluidity, structure and dynamic nature of water (rivers, seas, oceans). Reach for what the water washes ashore: build abandoned fishing nets, ropes and ocean plastic straight into the silhouette.
The guiding theme is „Innovation” in the context of sustainable development (sustainable fashion) and ecology. We combine traditional tailoring craft with modern digital technologies and a way of thinking about the sustainable fashion of the future.
Students, graduates of art universities and independent fashion designers from Poland and the Eastern Partnership countries: Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Taking part in the competition is completely free. We charge no application fees and take no commission.
Each participant may submit only one original design of a complete fashion silhouette.
Design requirements
Only works made entirely from reclaimed materials are eligible for jury evaluation. Inventive upcycling scores highest: textile and tailoring waste, clothing for remaking, plastics, abandoned fishing nets, ropes and foils reworked into haute couture forms in answer to the climate challenge.
A correctly completed application form (below on this page).
An artistic sketch, graphic design or photographic documentation of the finished silhouette (JPG / PNG / PDF).
A short description (up to 500 characters including spaces): a specification of the reclaimed materials used and the rationale for the thematic inspiration.
Total pool PLN 3,200 (approx. EUR 750)
Beyond the cash awards, the works of all 7 winners (1st–3rd place and 4 honorable mentions) will be presented digitally in the interactive SPLOT installation, part of the exhibition at the Millenium Hall culture and retail centre. Visitors will be able to virtually „wear" the submitted creations through Generative AI, interacting with the works in real time.
